Happy Birthday March Friends

Hello to all
Much to say today, for a change, so let's get right to it.  Firstly I'd like to wish a very warm, happy and beautiful Spring to all you folks in the Northern Hemisphere   while here in Australia we are about to be plunged into  Well at least, we hope so; the last time we had rain here in Perth (and for many, many miles around) was in October.  I know some of you will have difficulty believing that, but it's true!  It's been hot and dry and wonderful, but even this little Sun-Loving Aussie has to admit that we need a deluge for at least a month to refill our dams.  The first rains always roll right off the ground and never sink in to water the plants - it takes a while for the soil to start accepting moisture again.

We've had 2 very exciting new additions to our family.  Firstly the promised 'Puppy for Christmas' to my granddaughters from their parents.  It was incredibly hard for my son and his wife to actually find a Jack Russell puppy.  They did find one in late January, but she didn't have that factor, which of course disappointed the girls at the time.  But finally, on Feb 24th, they found The One and brought her home  She's named Jessie J(nr) in memory of my D-I-L's dog as she was growing up, named Jessie, and the puppy's own mother, also named Jessie.
