Best of 2012As is normal during this time of the year, I thought I would celebrate some of the best traditional graphite drawings I have seen this year. These are the people who I admire, and those that remain an inspiration to any inspiring pencil artist. They are what I deem to be the glitterati of DA, the royal family of pencil art and those that us mere mortals can only hope emulate in our dreams

2013 LOVE FEATURE FEST PART 1 OF 3I want to say to all of you reading this now, "HAPPY NEW YEARS DAY-2013! Yay, we have made it thus far, have we not? I say to you that I love you all so very much. I have put together some appropriate artwork here, from various artists. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. Don't feel bad if I've missed any of you, because I am simultaneously working on another feature journal. There's just too much awesomeness to put into one journal! Traditional Art Feature

Before I get down to business I must tell you what my darling and so funny husband said today. He often gets words a bit wrong, or mixed up, but today he offered me 'a bit of slip and tackle'. We were on a bus at the time and I laughed my head off. For an inappropriate amount of time

He'd meant 'slap and tickle'

There never seems enough time to put together the Features that I desire to do. These days I'm very hard pushed to keep up with just my messages at times! Newsletters and Polls can be hard to get around to reading, and Group Deviation thumbnails pile up - though I always do sift through and view my Friends' submissions... eventually!

But enough about struggle, happy struggle though that is

He's so funny - and almost always it's accidental. Half of them are not the kind of things I can share in public but they do make me laugh! He once asked at a pet shop for 'erotic fish' instead of 'exotic fish'
