Description

The nail art that I painted for our holiday (vacation), inspired by beautyhigh.com.  I was really pleased that it lasted for the 10 days between being painted, all through the 8-day holiday, and then the family get-together the following day.  I have to admit I was thrilled with the way this one turned out.  I kept it looking good by touching up the black on the tips with a black marking pen every couple of days with an occasional addition of good quality top coat.  It was easier to pack a marking pen than acrylic paints and brushes LOL

I've returned to very full message centres so please bear with me as I reply to you all (copy and paste will be my friend, forgive me ) and return to normal with everything else in my life too.  Holiday photos will be uploaded in time.
Oh my goodness, I am so stunned.  A Daily Deviation Jawdrop

I had never considered the difficulty of nail art, but the brilliant colours and graceful design of this work are indicative of style, planning and creative output rarely seen in such culture conscious offerings. I love that each is different, each finger has its own artistic completion, and while I find it sad that it is temporary in our world of art, the picture will last forever, as well as the great pleasure to the eye. I am intrigued to see more of this kind of work because of the brilliant job done here. I am inspired to try, myself, though I imagine a steady hand as well as a thoughtful creation are needed. Bravo, May.
