Are you uploading through st.ash? I find that when I can't edit the deviation if I go to it directly from someone's feature, I *can* edit it if I go to edit after opening the deviation from my own gallery.

Sure is! I've told them 2 or 3 times in the beta testing feedback area but there are so many complaints in there about the new beta uploader that I think the sensible suggestions are being overlooked.
