Necklace for Amie

Based on a necklace I saw on Pinterest severineledore.files.wordpress… I made this for my Daughter-in-Law, Amie.  She'd asked for something classic/old fashioned, and chose ecru to match the theme.  There was no pattern with the Pinterest picture so I created my own.  I hope that makes it sufficiently different from the original that I am not breaching copyright or intellectual property.

Crocheted with 2.5mm hook and Milford Jumbo Perle No. 10 in 'Natural'.  I think it would have been nicer with a soft cotton, the same as the original idea, rather than a mercerised one, but my craft store didn't have any.  I *think* Amie was happy with it, she's not terribly expressive, so I'll wait and see if she wears it much.  But either way, I've made her a gift and it's hers to do as she pleases.  I have a little saying 'When you give a gift, don't forget to let go'.  My mother always checks up, making sure you use her gifts and guilting if not
