Gnomesville Nail Art and Scarf

In the south west of Australia, way out in the country, is a 3-road intersection with a tiny roundabout.  Here, a school girl used to wait for the school bus to arrive each day and she would look at the hollow in a nearby tree.  So one day she brought a garden gnome and put it in the hollow.  One of her friends brought another gnome to keep the first one company and, slowly, slowly over the past years other visitors have added gnomes, or other creatures and the place has been known as Gnomesville for ages.  Apparently it's in the Top 100 Places to Visit in Australia - and so you should!  We didn't take a gnome, but I crocheted a little scarf adorned with an applique (also crocheted) flower to gift.  And here's the gnome I chose to give it to...

In all our wildest dreams we could not imagine what Gnomesville was truly like  More to follow.  But, knowing we were going there, I had to paint my nails to the theme - of course!
