This past weekend - a 3-day weekend because of Australia Day - I was up 3 hours early each day to get to a woodworking workshop. There were plenty of new skills to learn, and many brave steps to take to create it. I've been around wood workers my whole life - both grandfathers, my father-in-law, husband and eldest son, but this is the first time I've come remotely close to creating something myself.
Here are some shots of it being made... and the photo that I used for the feature design inside the harp
Kindly requested by :iconcreative-focus: and :iconfantasycrafts: and featured by :iconthegalleryofeve: [link]
I really value every comment, :iconstarhugplz:, :+devwatch: and :iconfeatureplz: I can no longer thank everyone for Faves individually, but please know that I'm grateful and very happy to receive them, they mean a lot.

Absolutely beautiful! I've never done any woodworking, but it's a skill I'd like to pick up someday! I really admire you for this.

Thank you very much Erin :iconrubcheeksplz: It was my first venture, despite a lifetime of family members working with wood around me. Here's a model farm cart that my grandfather made for me [link] He even made the tiny metal parts by cutting the metal shapes from cans. He was a woodturner by trade.
