Description
This week's manicure, particularly for Mel asked me how long the grapevine manicure took (last week's one) and I had no idea, so this time I timed it. Here are the details...
Took around 5 mins to remove the 'grapes' and wash my hands of the polish remover. If I'd been removing a sparkle polish you could *at least* double that. Sparkle polish could save your life if you were falling off a cliff, it adheres that well!
Base coat and 2 different colours of polish onto clean nails, then 2 colours of feature polish onto nail tips and black 'animal spots' almost everywhere took almost exactly an hour. Though I answered some dA messages and walked 100 metres on the treadmill (to help my back) while layers were drying. Then added some glitter sparkles along the demarcation lines and a final top coat, which was probably another 20 mins or so - it was fiddly because the little blighters wouldn't let go of the 'picking stick' ha ha! I don't usually mess with 'jewels' but this design, which I found on Pinterest, needed it. Well, it needed *something* between the tips and the main part of the nails to explain the differences. I can no longer thank everyone for Faves individually, but I am very grateful
